Calorie is not a tangible thing. It is a unit of measurement. For estimating calorie need per day we should consume a particular amount of it, in order to maintain our weights. Simple Benedict formula helps to access our BMR i.e. Basal Metabolic Rate.

BMR amount of energy is that amount which is required for proper functioning of the body out of which 60% is consumed for day to day activities. Apart from this there are other factors which affects BMR position and they are height, weight, sex and age.

Most of us say we have only that food which is oil free or what we watch them as. But do we really do so in reality?? Do we have only what we see written on it??

Study says that we always tend to forget some of our daily bites. Like we remember we had fries on the way back home. But we forget that we had 45 Gms chocolate, an ice cream and few cream pastries before going to bed. Unfortunately these small details make all the difference in life.

We intake more than we really thought of than why not choose a in between road which will help to observe good result in few weeks. So if we are more weight consume lower calories and intake more of nutrients in our meals.

Dieting can be as simple but also a reason why so many of us fail. It’s because we forget the no of times we open our fridge. For this we better put a notepad in front of it and take down the number of times we opened it and times when we consumed something.

This will not only solve the problem of determining the number of calories we consume but also determine the unhealthy pattern of having food.

Counting calories is one of the methods which has not lost its appeal throughout all these years and is one of the oldest methods to lose weight. We all think of consuming lower intakes but are we really doing so?? If not it’s high time now.

Lastly by following this pattern, not only helps in weight loss but also helps to loose unwanted calories which disturbs the” outlook” of an individual.

It’s also important to remember that cutting too many calories leads to weight plateaus. So at least 1200 calories per day is advisable.
